This wonderful sterling silver box was handmade by Laguna Pueblo artist, Greg Lewis. The large Bisbee stone on the top is Gem Grade Natural Bisbee Turquoise. The silverwork is masterful with repousse, stamping, and four silver fan feet. The box opens with handmade hinges to store all of your treasures. The box measures approximately 1-1/2″ X 3″ X 3″. Greg was very excited to work with this stone and he saw a spirit horse in it.
“My designs are a combination of my grandfather’s patterns and my own creations. These include various animals: the bear, eagle,lizard, roadrunner, turtle, fish, etc. Greg prides himself in keeping “the old style art” alive after four generations. “I enjoy showing people my methods because they reflect the traditional ways my grandfather taught me.
