Alvin Yellowhorse Pendant Inlaid Corn Maiden

SOLD

Silver Corn Maiden Pendant with Multi-Stone Inlay by Navajo Artist, Alvin Yellowhorse

Product Description

Handcrafted Sterling Silver Corn Maiden Pendant with Multi Stone Cobble Inlay by Navajo Artist, Alvin Yellowhorse. Cuttlebone cast and hand-fabricated, this charming piece features natural turquoise, pink and red coral, magnesite and lapis in the face and multi-stone inlay in the body.  Alvin is credited for originating the style of inlay called “Corn Row Wave Inlay” in which the stones are individually cut and rounded before setting them into his jewelry. This inlay technique is much more time consuming as he has to completely finish each stone one at a time before placing them into the gold or silver setting.
