Danny Romero is of both Yaqui and Spanish heritage. Danny grew up in Douglas, Arizona and has been working with stone and silver since the 1970’s. He received wide acclaim in the 1970’s-80’s for both his traditional turquoise jewelry as well as his inlay jewelry. He is best known for his amazing inlay work that actually looks like a painting. Danny was the first silversmith to literally create painted art using cut and inlaid stones into jewelry.
