Wonderful silver Concho Belt by Cochit Pueblo artist Cippy Crazyhorse. Cippy’s sign can be seen on the underside of the buckle. There are 9 conchos and the buckle. It is an excellent example of Cippy’s classic and elegant Navajo stamp work on the conchos and on the buckle. Each concho measures 2-3/4″ X 3″ and the buckle measures 2-1/2″ X 3″. Cippy is the son of Cochiti silversmith, Joe H. Quintana. Cippy hand crafts his jewelry the traditional way. He melts silver making an ingot which he then hand hammers and shapes to create his designs. They are then hand stamped and finished beautifully.
