This hand carved turquoise bead necklace is by Hopi artist, Piki Wadsworth. Piki has hand carved natural Cheyenne turquoise in beautiful beads and finished it with handmade spiny oyster shell corns at the bottom. This Hopi turquoise necklace is finished with handmade sterling silver cones, chain and a hook. The necklace measures 16″ long plus the addition 4″ making a total length of 20″.
Hopi artist, Piki Wadsworth is carrying on the tradition of the finest bead making that very few Native American artists do. Using only the highest grade turquoise and other stones, she hand carves and polishes the stones into beautiful necklaces and earrings. Her mother is master artist and bead maker, Cheryl Yestewa.
