Product Description
Stunning Sterling Silver Handmade Ring with Kingman Turquoise by San Felipe Pueblo Artist, Isaiah Ortiz.
Isaiah was born in 1977 and raised at the San Filipe Pueblo in New Mexico. Isaiah grew up helping his father, Raymond Twinhorse, an accomplished silversmith, create and sell jewelry. He started out selling his bracelets, rings, earrings and pendants in Santa Fe on the plaza, at the Heard Museum show and Santa Fe Indian Market.
Isaiah has forged his own jewelry making path. He works for himself making heavy-gauge sterling-silver cuffs, bracelets, pendants, rings and earrings. All of his silver work is hand cut and with its heavy construction, strong lines and sharp angles, his art is equally at home in modern jewelry stores as it is in reservation trading posts. Isaiah works in 0 gauge, 1/2 gauge and 1 gauge silver. It can take him 16 hours to make a heavy bracelet.
