Bryan Tom began making jewelry in 2011-2012 when he apprenticed with Harrison Jim Sr. Navajo Silversmith. He is a first generation jeweler. Bryan was born and raised in Gallup NM.  His mother’s side of the family has roots in San Felipe Pueblo north of Albuquerque and his father is Dine or Navajo. He is an enrolled member with the Navajo Tribe. Bryan did not go to art school but is a supremely skilled artist who also enjoys painting and making pottery, some with inlay. Bryan won a 2nd place ribbon in jewelry in 2017 at Santa Fe Indian Market in jewelry and has won a number of awards at the Gallup Inter-Tribal Ceremonial.
