Lovely inlaid bird, likely a goldfinch, by Zuni artists, Corrine and Curtis Leekity.  Signed with the artist’s CL hallmark on the reverse side.  Circa 1960’s, from the private collection of Don and Nita Hoel.

Zuni husband and wife team, Curtis and Corrine Leekity made fabulous inlaid birds and animals from the 1950’s to the 70’s.  Curtis Leekity is a grandson of the great Zuni inlay jewelry artist John Gorgon Leak
