Handmade Sterling Silver Beads with a Beautiful Silver and Red Japanese Coral Pendant by Navajo Master Artist, Lee Yazzie. The necklace was sent to Lee for a new hook and he provided the information that the coral is from the Sea of Japan.
Born in 1946, Lee Yazzie is an exceptional Navajo jeweler who has mastered both the art of stone inlay and the art of silversmithing. Lee Yazzie grew up in Vanderwagen, NM, in a family of traditional Navajo silversmiths. His family of exceptional artists include his brother Raymond, his sister Mary Marie and other sisters who make exceptional beads.
