Beautiful fluted sterling silver handmade beads make up this necklace by Navajo artist, Larry Joe. It is a choker length measuring 16″ long.
Larry Joe was born on the Navajo Reservation and is the younger brother of Al Joe. His brother influenced him and and helped him begin making jewelry. He also took classes in jewelry making at NAU when he was a student there. His work is mostly traditional style but he occasionally does contemporary work. He has won 1st Place award in the Santa Fe Indian Market and the Navajo Show held at the Museum of Northern Arizona.
