Elegant 18kt Gold Collar with Handmade 18kt Gold and Coral Corn Design Pendant by Hopi Artist, Charles Supplee. This gorgeous Hopi necklace is finished with 3 diamonds. Charles Supplee apprenticed with master fine jeweler, Pierre Touraine where he learned the art of diamond setting. The 18kt Gold choker clasps at the back. The Hopi handmade pendant has a beautiful corn design husk design with the “stalk” weaving around the choker. Charles has then carved a corn pattern into the coral and inlaid it with small pieces of 18kt gold, Turquoise and Sugilite. A similar necklace can be seen in Arizona Highways, May 1986, on page 15. It is very likely this Native American Necklace was made around that time. Curated from a private collection in Los Angeles.
