Aaron John Handmade this Sterling Silver overlay bracelet. It has a flying hummingbird design and is accented with Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, Coral, Spiny Oyster Shell and Lapis. This bracelet measures 7/8″ wide. In addition to each hummingbird concha being handmade, Aaron John cut the leather himself and the clasp is handmade. Aaron John is a Navajo artist. He was completely self taught after finding his dad’s tools in a box. He began by doing demos at church and then gifting the pieces. He hand fabricates all of his creations using heavy silver. Often, he does an overlay design, hand cutting the silver and soldering onto the bottom piece. He states that “You can always recognize my work by the thickness”.
