Product Description

This whimsical Mouse Warrior Kachina is perched on a mousetrap and he is holding a staff with a goldfish cracker on it. He is being observed by a cat who looks like he would love to have the goldfish.  It is Titled, “Warrior Mouse” and was hand carved by Hopi artist, Ted Pavatea.  The mouse Kachina itself measures 3″ and with the staff it is 6″.  The total height with the staff is 6-1/2″ high.

Ted is the son of Tewa-Hopi potter Garnet Pavatea and was born in 1952 in the Village of Hano at Hopi.  He is a favorite carver of ours as his Kachinas always make us smile.
