This very charming Koyala Kachina and his dog friend are both looking at their ipads. It is Titled, “Native Tech” and was hand carved by Hopi artist, Ted Pavatea.
Ted is the son of Tewa-Hopi potter Garnet Pavatea and was born in 1952 in the Village of Hano at Hopi. He is a favorite carver of ours as his Kachinas always make us smile.
