Product Description
This Sand Snake Kachina was hand carved by Hopi artist, David Jensen out of one piece of wood including the base, tail, sash, ruff and feathers on the back of its head. The tall feathers, shells on the front and yucca sticks have been added.
The Sand Snake Kachina, as the name would imply, represents the spirit of the snake. Snake spirit is associated with Snake Village and the Lower Place.
