Wonderful 14kt Gold and Lone Mountain Turquoise necklace by Santo Domingo Pueblo artist, Eddie Aguilar. Natural Lone Mountain turquoise and 14kt gold nuggets are finished with 14kt gold cones and clasp. The total length of this necklace is 24″ and it weighs 5.25 ozs.
Ed Aguilar was from Santo Domingo Pueblo and learned silversmithing at boarding school in Santa Fe. He was known for his beautiful hand pulled silver and gold round and square chains. Ed passed away from complications from diabetes in 2006.
